山東玉皇化工（集團(tuán)）有限公司成立于1986年，在國(guó)內(nèi)外擁有5大生產(chǎn)基地，14家子公司，占地7000余畝，員工6000多人，總資產(chǎn)達(dá)200億元，2016年中國(guó)500強(qiáng)中排名第389位。

2012年，玉皇化工將新能源作為集團(tuán)轉(zhuǎn)型升級(jí)的重點(diǎn)發(fā)展方向，確立“走自主研發(fā)和對(duì)外合作相結(jié)合”的發(fā)展思路，籌建電池研發(fā)團(tuán)隊(duì)，成立山東玉皇新能源科技有限公司。玉皇新能源注冊(cè)資金2.5億元，主要從事動(dòng)力電芯、動(dòng)力電池系統(tǒng)和石墨烯的研發(fā)生產(chǎn)和銷售。2016年，一期年產(chǎn)5億瓦時(shí)動(dòng)力電池生產(chǎn)線建成投產(chǎn)，二期建設(shè)項(xiàng)目已經(jīng)啟動(dòng)，占地648畝的新能源百億產(chǎn)業(yè)園初具規(guī)模。
